That is the best home record in the division, but issues have been endured on the road. Wrexham sit 13th in the away form standings, claiming only four wins from 13 games, and have suffered defeats at Barnsley and Shrewsbury since the turn of the year.
EFL pundit Don Goodman has told of why travel sickness could undo much of the Red Dragons’ fine work: “Wrexham are definitely in the race for promotion. Wycombe have to play eight games against teams from the top nine, which won't be easy. To add a bit more context, they haven't lost a single game against anybody from the bottom half this season but have only managed to beat five teams from the top half.
“It's all to play for. But Wrexham's Achilles heel is their away form against top-half teams, having not won any of their seven matches on the road against those sides.”
